There is currently a good Amex Sync promotion via Twitter for a $50 credit when you spend $200 or more on a Marriott stay between November 6 and December 31, 2014.

The offer is good for hotels in the US or Puerto Rico (Guam excluded), and reservations must be made online at www.marriotthotels.com or over the phone.

The Twitter hashtag is #AmexMarriott.

If you have an American Express card, new promotions are constantly being added in either your “Amex offers for you†tab or via Twitter, but while the “Amex offers for you†promotions vary by person, the Twitter promotions are the same for everyone. The only catch is that enrollment in the Twitter promos is usually limited, so if you see one you like you should Tweet the hashtag as soon as you can to get in on the deal before the limit is reached.

If you haven’t done this before, it’ll just take a few steps.

Create a Twitter account by using this handy link.

Sync your Amex to your Twitter account via this link (only one Amex card allowed per Twitter account, but just about any Amex will qualify as long as it isn’t a giftcard).

Sign back into Twitter with this link and Tweet the promotion’s hashtag (the one for this promo is #AmexMarriott. A few minutes later you’ll get a response from @AmexOffers with your name, saying that offer has been added to your card.

Once you receive that confirmation, you can use your synced Amex to make your Marriott booking. If you don’t get a response, message them at @AskAmex.

Once you’ve completed your stay, you’ll see a $50 statement credit on your Amex account.

Even if I didn’t have any Marriott stays planned I’d still enroll for this promotion.
