Promo: Hilton HHonors Double Points or Miles?

Hilton HHonors has a new promotion that allows you to double the amount of miles or (base) points earned between May 1 and July 31, 2014 at participating properties.
Register before you stay, and choose your own adventure. Note that once you decide to go with one or the other your choice cannot be modified.
Some hotels have chosen not to participate, here is the full list.
If you’re a member of HHonors, instead of receiving 10 points per dollar you’ll get 20 plus any bonus points for being a Gold Member, Diamond, or using a Hilton HHonors credit card. To me this is a higher value than simply earning the extra one mile per dollar, so I registered for double points.
