Wyndham Rewards Points at 20% Off Through July 21
Wyndham Rewards points are on sale for 20% off. From now through July 21, 2014 when you buy or gift points you’ll receive up to a 20% bonus.
If you buy between 5,000 and 19,000 points, you receive a 15% bonus. If you buy 20,000 to 40,000 points, you’ll get a 20% bonus.

That comes out to be just over .9 cents per point, which is not cheap. Â One of the recent Daily Getaways packages was for Wyndham Rewards points, and they could be purchased at .54 cents each.
In addition, Wyndham Rewards points used to transfer over to airline miles at a good ratio, but Wyndham decreased the value overnight in early February. They also increased the points needed for hotel redemptions last year without publishing a chart of which ones moved up or down. This doesn’t earn trust in my book.

If you plan to redeem these points for a specific stay, it may work for you. For me, I won’t be purchasing since I don’t know when the next time is that they’ll be changing their program again, and I don’t have any stays planned in the near future.
