5,000 Bonus HHonors Points for Stay at New Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort
Hilton’s new nine story, 346 room Okinawa Chatan Resort is slated to open on July 2, 2014. To celebrate the opening, Hilton is offering 5,000 HHonors bonus points for stays of 3 nights or more with arrivals between August 1 and December 27, 2014.
Booking link here.  The new property will be a Category 9. Here’s the promotion page.
Checking the random dates of November 14 to November 17, 2014, the rate came out to $249 a night. I thought this pretty reasonable, considering the Doubletree in Okinawa for those same dates was at $152.
Many of the rooms boast ocean views. Here’s a picture of a guest room from Hilton’s website –
The new Hilton is located right next to Mihama Town Resort American Village, which is full of restaurants and shopping. The hotel also has three swimming pools, a spa, fitness center, and three restaurants.

This is a great hotel in a good location, Though, I am not sure that I would recommend if you are looking for an island resort. The area around this hotel is very built up, but tons of great shopping (American Village), Kadena AB, etc. There really should be a blog post about visting Okinawa, it truly is worthwhile (and has amazing beaches).
