Know any fans of the popular Broadway musical Wicked?

Just in time for Halloween, Sheraton New York Times Square in partnership with the award-winning show is offering a fun package called “Wicked Night Out“.

It includes two Wicked themed cocktails in the hotel bar, a Wicked room amenity, and guaranteed access to purchase two premium Wicked tickets.

Reservations must be made seven days in advance.

Here’s a booking link.

Use promotional code WICKEZ when booking.

Selecting a random date of Saturday October 18, the best available rate was $439. The Wicked package increased it to $550.

Both of them are fully refundable until the day before. I next hopped on Ticketmaster to see if I could find seats for the show. I had no problems getting two tickets in the orchestra area for my requested date of the 18th.

However, it is still a month away. A couple of drinks at the bar and a special in-room amenity don’t justify the extra package cost for me but if I was a die-hard Wicked fan and really wanted seats for the show when it was sold out, the two-ticket premium seat guarantee might be worth the extra.

Update: Even if you don’t have Platinum status, all guests booking the package automatically get Club Lounge access. The Club Lounge has Starbucks coffee, bottled water, continental breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, free Wifi and snacks available 24 hours a day. This definitely adds value to the package and is a good opportunity for those wanting to gain Club Lounge access without spending an extra average of $75 per night!
