GHA September Flash Sale at 20-50% Off
I received an email late last night that GHA (Global Hotel Alliance) is having a flash sale for the next three days, with savings between 20 and 50% off. Each property’s offer varies, and has different blackout dates. Most properties also have added perks included with this sale, such as free cookies, breakfast, in-room movies, parking, discounts on laundry, spa, etc.
I couldn’t find a specific end time for the promotion so I am thinking the sale will end by the end of the day on Friday September 26 or Saturday September 27, 2014. Most of the rates are nonrefundable and non-changeable, though a some offer a full refund up until the day before check-in.
I took a look at a few random properties to see what the discount would be. The Omni Berkshire Place is 20% off when staying 3 nights or more through December 31, 2014. The promotional also includes a 10% dining discount. Not a great deal, but depending on your status in GHA’s Discovery Programme you may find it decent.
The Anatara Hua Hin Resort & Spa in Thailand has one of the best offers. At 50% off with no minimum stay, I found Sea View rooms on the weekends for 5500THB (around $170) a night including free breakfast. Note that this property’s sale does not allow free cancellations. Since this room type is already a few higher than standard, you may be able to get a Lagoon room upgrade with Black membership status.
The Rydges Kalgoorlie Resort & Spa in Western Australia is at 40% off for stays through December 30, 2014, and the room can be cancelled up until the day before arrival with no penalty.
