October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Even though this blog is focused primarily on hotels, I wanted to write about a special frequent traveler offer. Through October 31, for each boarding pass photo that is posted to Twitter & Instagram with the hashtag #flyforpink, the collaborative of  Boarding Area, Milepoint, Freddie Awards, Bonusfeber, Ikvliegveel and Frequent Traveler University will donate 50 cents to cancer-related causes up to $10,000.

That’s a cool offer. Free for you, and very helpful for the organizations that are working hard every day to fight against breast cancer. Let’s get that donation amount all the way to the top!

Here’s one way you can show your support.

Here’s what I just tweeted. Please note that I removed my name, muddled the barcode for safety and recommend you do the same (along with removing your frequent flyer number) before posting your boarding pass.
