Westin Sleep Sensor Lending Program Plus Win a Free Heavenly Bed
Westin Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Lark Technologies to introduce a pilot program for a wearable Sleep Sensor device to help guests sleep better.
The idea is to help guests start their day well-rested, happier and healthier by tracking their sleep patterns and providing virtual coaching via the new device. Called the Lark Up Sleep Monitor, Silent Alarm Clock and Personal Sleep Coach, the device works similar to UP armbands and the Fitbit and tracks micro movements throughout the night, which is assembled via an app for personalized data charts.
You can download the app for free here, but if you really love the Lark armband you can buy your own through Westin’s online store here, where the introductory model is $99 and the Pro version is $159.
The new lending program for the wearable device is available through November at the following properties –
Westin Frankfurt
Westin Cape Town
Westin Sydney
Westin Abu Dhabi
Westin Palace Milan
Westin New York Times Square
Westin Singapore
Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi
Also, in celebration of their 15th Anniversary of the Heavenly Bed, Westin Hotels & Resorts is running a contest where you can win your very own Westin Heavenly Bed. They’re also giving away a two-night stay at a Westin property, a down blanket, travel blankets, pillows, their signature White Tea scent diffusers and bath & body sets.

The contest runs through November 30, 2014 and all you need is your email address and name to enter.
I used the Fitbit when it was still in Beta testing and wasn’t too impressed because any time the bed moved with a pet or another person it threw off my results. These types of devices have come a long way in a few years though so no doubt this new one will have a ton of cool features. Have you used a sleep tracking device, and if so did you like it?
