Residence Inn Offering Free One-Month Subscription to Story Bug App

Residence Inn is offering guests free one-month subscriptions to Story Bug, a unique app that allows kids, parents and grandparents an interactive experience during story time. Launched today, they are giving free subscriptions out that don’t even require a hotel stay. The digital books created for Residence Inn have fun names too such as, “I left my sock in San Francisco”.

Diane Mayer, VP and global brand manager of Residence Inn said, “We understand how difficult it is for parents who have to travel for work to maintain the daily routines for their children, especially in the evening before bedtime. As a part of our ongoing commitment to celebrating families, the Story Bug app helps our guests use technology in a fun and meaningful way to stay connected with their kids.â€

The app allows you or a child to touch the screen and then the other person can see where their finger is pointing. A video chat plus the digital book makes it look easy to interact.

I entered my email address, and was promptly taken to a page with a unique code to enter after I had downloaded the app.

A one month subscription typically goes for $4.99, and there are six-month and yearlong subscriptions available too. The free offer is good through March 20, 2015.
