Hilton HHonors Launches Lifetime Diamond Status
Hyatt and Starwood have Lifetime status offerings, and now Hilton is joining in as of December 31, 2014 to offer Lifetime Diamond status.
The requirements for being a Diamond member of Hilton’s HHonors program are:
30 stays, 60 nights, or 120,000 base points
You can also earn Diamond status by way of spend on a Hilton credit card.
To achieve Lifetime Diamond status with Hilton, the requirements are:
10 years as a Diamond member (years don’t have to be consecutive)
1000 paid nights
I logged in to my HHonors account online but couldn’t find anything showing my progress towards Lifetime Diamond.
I called in to the HHonors line and the agent said she could see my total nights since I had joined the program by going into my profile, and how many years I had been a Diamond member. Neither she nor a supervisor could find anything about it being online for individuals to track their progress towards the lifetime goal though. She said since they have just introduced the Lifetime program more tools may be added online in the coming months.
I know I’m far away from reaching Lifetime Diamond, but I look forward to seeing a bar that tracks my progress.

Hat tip to View from the Wing.
I hit Diamond based on my number of stays, I’m so far away from 1000 nights.
