The St. Regis Istanbul Opening This Weekend has a Bentley Suite
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is opening a new property in Istanbul, Turkey this coming Sunday March 1, 2015. Overlooking Maçka Park and the Bosphorous, the hotel is about an hour’s drive from Ataturk Airport.
The hotel’s Iridium spa has pools, 7 massage rooms and a hammam. There’s Spago, the hotel’s iconic rooftop restaurant by Wolfgang Puck that has open-air seating and a round bar, St. Regis Brasserie which is the Parisian style dining venue on the ground floor, and “O” Bar. Incidentally, this Spago restaurant is the first international location. Here’s an artist’s rendering of the Brasserie, from Starwood’s website –
The decor is glamorous Art Deco mixed with Turkish luxury, and a 343 piece glass panel chandelier named “Supernova” welcomes guests to the lobby. The earth toned rooms have bronze, glass and wood accents and the bathrooms have local Marmara marble. The photo at the top of this page is an artist rendering of the exterior of the hotel, from Starwood Hotels’ website.
There are 118 guest rooms and suites that feature floor to ceiling windows.
To kick off the celebration, the hotel is offering promotional rates for the rooms starting at 298 EUR –
There is also an offer for bonus Starpoints when booking. Use promotional code PKGBA for double Starpoints when booking a Superior or Deluxe room, PKGBB for triple Starpoints when booking a Grand room, and PKGBC for 3,000 bonus Starpointswhen booking a suite. Here’s a booking link.
The Superior room is also available using 30,000 Starpoints as a Category 7 property. Here’s a photo of the Superior room from Starwood’s website –
The Suites don’t have special pricing, but they are almost all available starting on opening night –
The hotel’s crown jewel is their Bentley Suite. I found availability for random dates in May, but if you want to stay there it’ll set you back a hefty 5150 EUR per night! which includes breakfast.

The 1,345 square foot suite was made in partnership with Bentley, and is inspired by the Continental GT model. The unique furnishings are meant to give the guest a feel of what it is like to sit behind the wheel of a Bentley. A sofa upholstered in Bentley leather, a wet bar featuring three Breitling clocks with times displayed for Istanbul, London and New York, a custom made humidor and a Bentley Home chaise in the bedroom are just some of the special items. There’s a also a bespoke sofa that has two champagne bottle coolers, Bentley hand-crafted jewelry boxes and a marble floor with the wheel design of the Continental.
There are few pictures of the hotel on their website just yet and none of the Bentley suite, but they do have some artist renderings –
Here’s another –
The hotel offers private car service to or from the airport, though it is with their fleet of Mercedes’ at a starting price of 160 EUR.
Those familiar withe the Park Hyatt will note that the St Regis property is just a 2 minute walk from there, across the street and around the corner.
Sounds like a great hotel, and I look forward to seeing more photos once it is open!
