Club Carlson Private Offer of Triple Gold Points
I received an email from Club Carlson today with a private offer of 40 bonus Gold Points per dollar spent during stays, on top of the standard 20 I’d typically earn. There is no minimum stay required for this promotion, although it is valid only for stay dates through March 31, 2015.
The email states that the promotion is only available for those who received the email, and the link in the email just took me to the sign-in page and didn’t reference a promotion code.
There is nothing in the T&C that states who is targeted for this offer, so check your email/spam folder to see if you’ve received an invitation to this promo.
If not, Club Carlson is still running their first-quarter promotion called “Extend your Stay, Earn 30K”, which I wrote about previously and you can find here.
An eligible two-night stay completed by March 31, 2015 earns 15,000 bonus Gold Points, and a three-night stay earns 30,000 bonus Gold Points. Click here to register for the “Extend your Stay” promo.
Both of these are good promotions. The especially good part about the private sale offer is that even a one night stay qualifies as there is no minimum.
Terms & Conditions:
This Triple Points promotion (“Promotion”) is valid for 40 bonus Gold Points® per U.S. Dollar spent (“Bonus Points”) in addition to the standard 20 Gold Points per U.S. Dollar spent on Eligible Stays between March 2, 2015 and March 31, 2015. Promotion is available exclusively for the Club CarlsonSM member number associated with the email address to which the Promotion invitation email was sent, is non-transferable and may not be resold, auctioned or bartered. Bonus Points will be credited to your account when the standard Gold Points are credited for the Eligible Stay. Bonus Points are not eligible to earn Elite member bonus points or other bonus point offers. The Promotion and Bonus Points are subject to the Club Carlson Terms and Conditions. Club Carlson reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue the Promotion with or without notice. Void where prohibited by law.
I’ll be in New Zealand for the whole promo, could I make a reservation for a friend (under my name) and have him as a second guest to get the promo? Would he be able to check-in/out okay?
The rules of the program say that you actually have to be the guest staying there. In my experience, sometimes a second guest can be on the reservation and check in/provide credit card details before you get to the hotel. YMMV though.
