New Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai Offers Launch Discounts
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has a goal of growing their portfolio 75% in the Middle East by 2017. They’ve just opened the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Dubai, which is the first new-build for Sheraton in over 30 years. To kick off the launch, Sheraton is offering a few discounts for bookings made by May 31, 2015.
Located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the new hotel is just 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport and about 10 minutes away from the Metro station and Dubai Mall.
The hotel is 54 stories high, with 474 guest rooms (58 of which are suites). There are also 180 apartments that range from one to three bedrooms. The property has a rooftop swimming pool, three restaurants and a Sheraton Club on the 31st floor.
Although there aren’t a lot of guest room pictures up on on Starwood’s website yet, here’s an artist’s rendering of a King room –
The 52nd floor houses Shine Spa which has an ice fountain, indoor pool, sauna, steam room, 9 treatment rooms and a relaxation area. Here’s an artist’s rendering of the Spa, from SPG’s website –
