SPG Hot Escapes Great Picks for June 10, 2015
Happy Wednesday! SPG’s Hot Escapes came out this morning and there are a couple properties prime for a mattress run. Here’s the entire list of properties with rates good for the next six weeks, and down below I’ve included what I think are some of the best picks.
For those who aren’t familiar with Hot Escapes, SPG combined Beat The Timer for Hot Escapes and Starpicks into something called Hot Escapes. Every Wednesday at 6am EST new properties are added and must be booked by that Saturday, for stays during the following six weeks. As an SPG member, you also save an extra 5% and earn points for the stay.
The only downside is that reservations are prepaid and if you change or cancel, a fee is involved.

Hotel President Wilson in Geneva was hovering around $285 a night back in the chilly winter months. The property is on offer this week with a rate of $335 for a few dates in July which is still decent.
The Sheraton Brussels has a low rate of $71 for the weekend of July 11.
Thailand has some good properties on offer this week. The Naka Island in Phuket is $253, Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort is $89, and the Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort is at $73 in June.
Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort also in Thailand is a really nice property and it has an SPG member rate of $61 with wide open availability.
The Sheraton Towers Singapore is again on offer this week, at a great rate of $153 during the weekends.
The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort in China is at $179 for a couple dozen dates in June and July.
Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah, UAE has a rate that dips down to $83 before it climbs back up to $240 range.
The Category 3 Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Durham, North Carolina is at $65 for the nights of June 3 & 4, and the Westin Washington Dulles Airport in Herndon, Virginia is $66 on July 10. Both of these would make good mattress runs if you happen to be nearby.
