How to Get Your Own Pancake Selfie
IHG’s Holiday Inn Express understands the importance of a good breakfast. Guests can enjoy signature pancakes at the hotel’s “Stack Station”, which turns out pancakes in 1 minute flat. In August, they even offered pancakes from 8pm to midnight as well as during regular breakfast hours. I love this idea. When you’re traveling for business and go from meeting to meeting, sometimes you just don’t have time to grab a bite to eat until you get to the hotel. Too often, choices are limited and you’re stuck eating something less than ideal.
Here’s a funny video with comedian Rob Riggle explaining the plight of travelers everywhere.

Forget about seeing religious symbols on your toast or hearts in your coffee. To enhance the breakfast experience, Holiday Inn Express has just announced their new “Pancake Selfie Express” which is coming to nine cities over the next couple months.

It looks a little crazy, but I bet selfies on a pancake will be a hit especially with Millennials. In fact, visitors have already been making pancake selfies, taking a selfie with their pancake selfie, and posting it on social media sites. Is that considered a triple selfie?

Would you get your selfie on a pancake?
I stayed at 3 HIEs during the night of the pancakes promo and only 1 had a working pancake machine…
Basil, I wonder if that was because they were so popular they broke, but regardless, standing in line to get a pancake at 11pm doesn’t sound appealing. Thanks for reading!
