SPG Hot Escapes Great Picks for October 14, 2015
SPG’s weekly Hot Escapes is out, and here’s the full list of properties offered along with some of Magic of Miles’ great picks for October 14, 2015.
A couple weeks ago I wrote about the changes to the format of SPG Hot Escapes so if you aren’t familiar you can catch up on the changes here.
For those new to Hot Escapes, each Wednesday properties are added and can be booked by that Saturday for stays throughout the following six weeks. SPG members also save an extra 5% off rates and earn points for the stay. The only downside to Hot Escapes reservations is that they are prepaid, and if you cancel or change a fee is involved.

If you need a mattress run to maintain status, Sheraton Stonebriar Hotel in Frisco Texas, Sheraton Houston West Hotel in Texas and Four Points by Sheraton Galveston in Texas are all $68.
Sheraton Towers Singapore has a SPG member rate of $138, and the Westin Singapore is $187.
Le Méridien Saigon in Vietnam is hot this week with a great low rate of $122.
Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Centre in Paris, France is $162.
I loved my stay at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Ireland, and it’s on the list this week for $65.
The Gritti Palace in Venice, Italy has a SPG member rate of $496. That’s not a low rate for Italy in general, but if you’ve been dying to stay there at that luxury property it isn’t bad.
Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in California has a reasonably low rate of $94. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be close to the airport since the shuttle takes you literally across the street in minutes, plus it is in walking distance to some restaurants.
New York City is rarely an inexpensive place to stay, which is why the W New York – Times Square rate of $189 is great.
