Did You Win a Free Night Award With Starwood’s SLS Las Vegas Promo?
A couple months ago we learned that the SLS Las Vegas hotel was acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
There were a number of challenges Starwood has had in working with the SLS as it is an older existing building (with small guest rooms) but I think it’s great that there is now another Starwood option in Las Vegas.
To entice visitors to stay at the new addition to their Tribute portfolio, Starwood is running a fun promotion in the way of a game.
Once you enter your SPG member number and email address on the promotion page, you get to choose one card.
The card is turned over and your special offer is revealed.
According to the promotion T&C, there are four total special offers –
– 2 free Uber rides per stay of $25 each with a maximum of 3 stays/6 Uber rides earned
– 500 bonus Starpoints per stay with a maximum of 3 stays/3,000 bonus Starpoints
– 1,000 bonus Starpoints per stay with a maximum of 3 stays/1,500 bonus Starpoints
– Free night after one stay, in a category 1-6 property. Must be redeemed by July 31, 2016
The bonus Starpoints, Uber credits, or Free Night Award will post within 2-4 weeks of the qualifying stay completed and and posted to your account.
Here are the full Terms & Conditions
Register by April 30, 2016 and before staying at the SLS Las Vegas property to get a bonus offer.
I registered and turned over my card of choice, and received the 2 $25 Uber credits, which is pretty cool considering that in the past rates of just $49 could be had at the property and rates now are hovering around $80 (albeit without the exorbitant $32.48 resort fee).
My husband’s offer was 1,000 bonus Starpoints per stay with a maximum of 3 stays/1,500 bonus Starpoints. I think this is a fun promotion, and if I got the free night award I would book a night at the SLS Las Vegas even if I hadn’t been intending to. I can’t tell if the bonus offers are random or if they vary depending on member status or some kind of other data.
What offer did you get? Did anyone get the free night award?
I “won” the free night, though not excited about having to book a trip to Vegas to qualify. Thinking of trying to book a night there, and no-showing. Maybe calling the front desk and seeing if they will check me in and out over the phone. Does anyone have experience with that?
My wife and I each got the free night offer. That said, we need to find the time to get to LV from the east coast sometime before the end of April!
