Enter to Win a Dream Stay IN the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France is one of the most easily recognizable landmarks in the world. It seems that just about everyone from school kids to retired folks dream of visiting the city of lights at least one time and an Eiffel Tower stop is inevitably a must-do while in Paris, with croissants and Pain au chocolat of course.
For those who love Paris or just the Eiffel Tower, HomeAway (a vacation rental website) is running probably the coolest contest ever.
During the soccer championship (July 2, 2016 through July 6, 2016), HomeAway will have a specially constructed luxury Apartment right in the Eiffel Tower, and you could win a night’s stay.
The grand prize winner gets round-trip airfare for them plus 5 guests to Paris, France, a night at the one-in-a-lifetime luxury apartment in the Eiffel Tower including dinner, and a breakfast (probably with croissants) the next morning at the Eiffel Tower apartment. They also get three more night’s accommodations at another HomeAway property.
What a really cool experience that would be. You can spend the night in hotels all over Paris, but how many people can say they’ve actually spent the night IN the Eiffel Tower?
There are no further details on the actual luxury apartment, but I’m sure it’ll be pretty decked out and swanky since six people will be staying there.
The contest is only open to residents of the 50 Unite States and District of Columbia, for those that are 18 or older.
Here’s how to enter the contest –
Go to the contest entry page.
Answer just one question, “What would you do if the Eiffel Tower was all yours for the night?”
Your essay answer has to be really short, responding in just 140 characters or less so put your best Twitter-style hat on.
According to the Terms & Conditions, the judges will be looking for a ton of unique creativity too, since it is weighted more heavily than your love for travel or humor.
The contest ends Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:59pm ET, and you can enter just once.
Good luck to everyone! It would be wonderful if one of my readers won.
