Luxury “No Address Hotel” in Paris Scene of Kardashian Robbery
When staying in the City of Light, many in the frequent traveler community love the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome in part because of the exceptional value when redeeming points versus paying for an 800 EUR per night rate.
Celebrities or those with deep pockets seeking a discreet property away from the bustling crowds in Paris find the chic Hotel de Pourtales to be a winner. Known locally as the “No Address Hotel”, it seems like the kind of place where you have to be whispered the details by someone already in the know. Leonardo DiCaprio, Prince, and Madonna have all stayed at at the private luxury apartments, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West stayed there on their Europe wedding jaunt a few years back.
l’Hotel de Pourtalès is the name of the luxury apartments, and the hotel reservation site is a bit difficult to find and navigate, even including a layer of security that requires a login.
I was successfully able to access the site and found pictures and details about the luxury digs on rue Tronchet, which even boast private chef services and a private entrance from an underground parking lot and elevator. The former residence of Count Alexander Pourtales, it was revitalized by Alexandre Allard and turned into 10 luxury apartments that range from $1,500 to $15,000 a night for the penthouse unit.

Kim Kardashian was staying at the “No Address Hotel” Sunday October 2 when a handful of masked men robbed her of over 9 million worth of jewels. Her hands were reportedly tied, she was gagged, and she was placed in the bathroom while the men rummaged through her stuff and made off with her valuables. Her two young children were not in the apartment at the time of the robbery.
There are reports that the men gained access by threatening the doorman, handcuffing him and forcing him to open up the residence. Police are still investigating, reviewing footage from the building cameras, and looking for the thieves.
Despite the break-in, a few clothing brands still held press days there Monday, admittedly with extra security out front.

@Bill garret, it sure does seem a crazy high amount especially to us mere mortals.
People love the real-time Kardashian ultra glam life via social media, but it also puts the K family in a vulnerable position with such obvious displays of wealth not to mention location specific info. Kim was in town for Fashion Week, so there was probably even more glitz than usual.
Regardless, it must have been a terrifying experience for Kim.
