Happy Valentine’s Day for all those that celebrate!

Virginia is for lovers, as the slogan from 1969 goes. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the Virginia Tourism Corporation is running an Instagram sweepstakes where a winner will win a free night at a luxury hotel in Virginia.

The historic Jefferson Hotel in Richmond is the region’s only five star property, and the winner will get to stay in a Grand Premier room.

You are eligible to enter the contest if you are at least 21 years of age.

Here’s how to enter:

Share a photo on Instagram between February 10 and February 19, 2017

Tag both @VisitVirginia and #LOVEVA

The toughest part is that the photo must feature a Virginia LOVEwork. If you don’t know where to find one, click this link to see a map of all of their locations.

The random drawing for a winner will be done on February 21, and the winner will be contacted via Instagram. The winning photo will be featured on the Virginia is for Lovers Instagram account.

There’s also another contest going on right now, being held by Merchants Square.

Here’s how to enter –

Have your picture taken with the LOVE letters in Merchants Square.

Share the photo on Instagram along with #LOVEinMSQ17 between February 10 and 20, 2017.

The prize is a $200 gift card to your favorite Merchants Square restaurant.

  1. Va is too full of liberals .. just look what the Governor did( friend of Hillary c) he allowed felons to vote (200,000 of them) to insure hillary won his pathetic state… not nice
