First World of Hyatt Promotion

World of Hyatt announced their first global loyalty program promotion yesterday.

Called “Double Points for Being You”, the promotion offers exactly that – double points (starting on your second stay) during the promotion period of April 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017 on eligible stays worldwide.

The double points kicks in on your second stay during the promotion period, and the bonus points earned will be posted to your account two to three weeks after your stay.

All you need is your World of Hyatt membership number to register, and when I entered mine I immediately got confirmation that I was registered.

You must register for the promo by June 30, 2017.

Although the promotion isn’t so exciting that I’ll go out of my way to change plans, I’m quite happy to see a promotion from World of Hyatt so soon. Double points can help get you to where you can redeem for free nights faster, which is always a good thing.

Here are the Terms & Conditions:

You must be a member of World of Hyatt and register for the promotion between April 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017 to participate. To join World of Hyatt, visit worldofhyatt.com. All Eligible Stays under this promotion must occur from April 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017 (â€œOffer Periodâ€). You will receive double points for each whole U.S. dollar or U.S. dollar equivalent spent on an Eligible Rate or Eligible Incidental Charges beginning on your second Eligible Stay. All points awarded under this offer are Bonus Points. For the purpose of this offer, an â€œEligible Stayâ€ is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate for at least one night of their stay. Only the room occupied by the Member will count toward this promotion. You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of check-in and choose points for each stay. World of Hyatt will automatically track Eligible Stays when you provide your World of Hyatt membership number at check in. Please allow two to three weeks after your qualifying stay for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account. Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdraw this offer with a suitable substitute offer of equal value (if legally required) at any time due to actual circumstances.
