Are these packages a great deal?
Some of these packages are great deals if you that love Vegas or Atlantic city and want to stay at these particular hotels.
As an example, looking at package #1 for $315 which offers two nights at Bally’s, if you were to purchase the hotel room alone for the random weekend of off-season October 13-15 you’d already be over $315 for a basic Indigo room.
The Jubilee room, which is what is included with this package, is two levels up from the basic room, offers strip views and shows an average of $254 a night.
By the time you add in taxes and fees, the total for those two nights comes to $644. Plus, with the package you also get $150 dining credit, a bottle of champagne, two tickets to a show, round-trip limo airport transportation, and two buffet passes.
The buffet passes are no ordinary passes either, as they give you 24 hours of unlimited buffet access to six buffets. Called the buffet of buffets, the price of the pass is usually $75 a person on weekends. Not including hotels nor other perks, you could eat your way around Vegas and stuff yourself silly to get your money’s worth out of this package with food alone, for goodness sake!
All in all, these packages offer great value.
Of course, if you are a big gambler in Las Vegas and have your hotels and food comped by casinos regularly, these packages may not interest you much.
Also, if you typically stay only mid-week, get your show tickets at “the coke bottle” for half-price you may not see as much value.
For most people that just want to take off for an exciting weekend in Las Vegas, it’s hard to see how you could go wrong with these packages with the exception being that there are blackout dates for each.
