Overview of Week 4 of the Daily Getaways Deals
Tomorrow starts the beginning of week 4 of the Daily Getaways.
For those just joining, over the last seven years the U.S. Travel Association has offered some great travel deals and packages on a first-come first-served basis. Past offers have included discounted loyalty points, savings on SeaWorld passes, savings on hotel nights in Vegas, car rentals, and so on.
Some of the offers are only mildly interesting, but some are great for those planning travels for holidays as well as travelers looking to maximize their options.
The fun this year started April 10, when different travel deals go live each weekday at 1pm EST until May 12, 2017.

This week’s lineup has some really great deals. The only tough part will be trying to purchase! With increasing awareness of the Daily Getaways in the last few years, when there are only a few packages to go around it can be near impossible to slip in and get one. Even when you are ready to purchase on the computer right at 1pm EST there isn’t a guarantee that you’ll succeed in getting one of the popular deals. But, there is always hope!
One year I managed to grab one of the hot sets of points, but it took me several minutes of refreshing my screen to even get to the place to enter my credit card number. It sure felt like a victory when it finally worked, and I was glad I had kept trying.
Here’s the full week’s calendar –
Week 4 (May 1-5, 2017) –
Looking ahead to week 5, here is the calendar for those deals –
Week 5 (May 8-10, 2017) –
Every morning at 8am EST I write about the deals of the day in detail, so you can review more carefully to see if it is something you want to jump on.
The daily info also serves as a reminder for busy folks who may want to get in on one of the deals but just have a lot of other day-to-day things on their calendar that take priority.
