SPG Hot Escapes Great Picks for December 10 Plus 31 Days of Giveaways – Day 10

SPG’s weekly Hot Escapes is out, and here’s the full list of properties offered along with some of Magic of Miles’ great picks for December 10, 2015. Plus, at the bottom of this post is how to enter today’s contest to win a goodie bag. More contest details can be found by clicking here.

Sometimes there are hundreds of properties on SPG’s Hot Escapes list, but this week there are just 32 worldwide.

For those new to Hot Escapes, each Wednesday properties are added and can be booked by that Saturday for stays throughout the following six weeks. SPG members also save an extra 5% off rates and earn points for the stay. The only downside to Hot Escapes reservations is that they are prepaid, and if you cancel or change a fee is involved.

St. Regis Osaka in Japan is a gorgeous property that is on the list this week for $176.

W Chicago Lakeshore in Chicago is at $94, just a few blocks from Michigan Avenue. Michigan Avenue is a very popular spot for holiday shopping.

Sheraton Samoa Aggie Grey’s Resort is at $114, which is the lowest we’ve seen it in the past year.

During the holidays there are often some good rates to be found, and here are some for airport hotels which are convenient for early/late flights –

The Sheraton Heathrow Hotel in London is offered at $73. That’s good if you just need a hotel during an overnight layover.

Westin Washington Dulles Airport in Herndon is $70.

Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre is $67.
