Have you Won a Prize in SPG’s Get in the Game Contest?
Starwood Preferred Guest in partnership with Major League Baseball® has a fun new game called “Get in the Game with SPG” where you can win instant prizes and even tickets to the 2016 World Series!
You can enter SPG’s online game once a day until March 18, 2016. Each registration also gives you one entry into the grand prize drawing for a pair of tickets to Game 1 of the 2016 World Series.
Here’s the breakdown of prizes –
SPG is giving away annual subscriptions to MLB.tv Premium, Amazon gift cards, and up to 20,000 Starpoints. The most common prize in the US is that of a $50 Amazon Gift Card, of which 510 will be given out. The most common prize that can be won in any eligible country is the 1,000 Starpoints, and there are 425 of those prizes.
That’s a lot of cool loot to win!

I entered the contest, and here’s my experience for those wondering the exact process or trying to figure out how much time it will take.
After I got to the contest landing page, I entered my SPG number and password and then was taken to a page with the “rules of the game”.
It said to pick my team, choose my type of pitch, and then watch my batter swing.
I selected the New York Yankees as the home team (my husband’s favorite team) and the Boston Red Sox as the away team (his least favorite team). After choosing a fastball I watched the batter swing, and he hit a double on the first try!
The next screen had the message that I’d won a $50 Amazon gift card, and that it would be mailed in the next three weeks.
Wow! Out of all of SPG’s online contests, this is the first time that I’ve won a prize. I love Amazon, so it is definitely a prize I will use, too.
The whole process took less than 5 minutes. Even if your batter strikes out, you can enter again daily through March 18, 2016.
