Enter to Win a Trip to Iceland with Hilton’s Travel with Purpose Contest
In celebration of Earth Hour this year, Hilton is running a social media contest.
For those not familiar with Earth Hour, millions of people turn off their lights for one hour each year to save energy and bring attention to the need for climate awareness.
Organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), this year’s Earth Hour will be held tomorrow March 25, 2017 from 8:30pm-9:30pm (local time, wherever you are).
Hilton’s #TravelwithPurposeContest is easy to enter, and the grand prize winner will be whisked off for a trip to Iceland! The grand prize is five nights at the Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik City Centre in Iceland, plus round-trip coach air transportation for you and an adult guest.
Here’s how to enter via –
1. Log into Twitter and follow @HiltonNewsroom (if you aren’t already).
2. Tweet showing how you are “celebrating Earth Hour by saving energy”, including hashtags “Travelwithpurposecontest” and “#EarthHour”.

2. Find the post specific to the contest, and then post a photo showing how you are “celebrating Earth Hour by saving energy”, including hashtags “Travelwithpurposecontest” and “EarthHour”.
You may enter once per platform per day, for a maximum of 3 total entries per day.
The judges will be looking for specific weighted criteria when choosing a winner. The breakdown is:
Creativity – 30%
Relevance to Theme – 30%
Visual Impact – 40%
The contest ends on April 1, 2017, and the winner will be announced on Earth Day which is April 22, 2017.
