Hilton 20% Off Easter & Memorial Day Sale
Hilton is running a flash sale through Friday, April 7, 2017 that offers up to 20% off the best available rate on stays between April 10-17, 2017 and May 25-30, 2017.
The flash sale is good for participating properties in the United States, Canada, and Latin America properties.
Advance purchase is required, which readers know is my least favorite since no one likes to be stuck with nonrefundable reservations and few options. Still, if your plans are firm this flash sale may offer some good savings.
Note that if you are arriving on either April 15 or May 27 (the Saturdays before Easter and Memorial Day, respectively), there is a stay requirement of 2 nights or more. If you arrive May 26 (Friday before Memorial Day) the stay requirement is 3 nights or more.
If you are not a member of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, you can still save 15% off the best available rate, though it makes sense to just sign up first to save the extra 5%.
Without logging in, I did a random search and chose the Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton for the one night of May 29, 2017. The pricing options returned showed the best available rate, the discounted rate available for Hilton Honors members, the 20% off rate with this flash sale, and the 15% off rate if I wasn’t a member.
Conrad and Waldorf Astoria properties are not offering 15-20% off, but a flat $20 off per night for Hilton Honors members, and $15 off per night for non-members.
Selecting the Conrad Chicago the rates were separated out to show the $15 savings vs $20.

Since many travelers don’t book their hotel rooms far in advance, it is good that Hilton has a flash sale for those who are just now getting their last-minute Easter plans in order. The sale is also good for those who are able to plan at least a little in advance and are thinking of Memorial Day travels.
