TownePlace Suites and Marriott Team up with Weber to Celebrate 300th Property
The new TownePlace by Marriott Suites Austin North/Tech Ridge property in Austin, TX is the brand’s 300th TownePlace Suites property. To celebrate, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Weber -Stephen Products LLC are introducing a new set of barbecue recipes by Weber Grill Master Kevin Kolman, just in time for summer grilling season.
May is the national month of BBQ, so guests wanting to get in the spirit can try out the creations themselves on Weber grills on site at more than 100 TownePlace Suites.
Some of the recipes include crab and jalapeno-stuffed avocados, as well as “grilled” sangria. Guests staying at TownePlace Suites will find recipes in their rooms in the month of May, and the recipes will also be downloadable on Towneplacesuites.marriott.com/partners/ Just click on the Weber link and there will be recipe and video options.
Perusing the recipes, one of my favorite names had to be the “hurry up I’m hungry” chicken, and one that sounds delicious is the “grilled & stuffed avocados with mango salsa & shrimp stuffing”.
There are videos too, with grilling tips. I found a fun dessert idea called banana boats that I hadn’t been familiar with before, where you stuff bananas and end up with a yummy looking concoction similar to s’mores.
The brand new category 4 TownePlace by Marriott Suites property (requiring 20,000 Marriott Rewards points for a free night) in Austin looks to have rates starting at $105 a night. The hotel does have a BBQ too if you’d like to try out any of these new grilling recipes.
