Marriott’s First MegaBonus Promotion for 2018 – Register Now!
Marriott has launched their first promotion for 2018.
The promotion is Marriott’s latest MegaBonus offer, where you can earn bonus Marriott Rewards points starting with your second eligible stay between the period of January 16 and April 15, 2018.
• If you stay on weekdays, you’ll earn 2,000 bonus points per stay, starting on your second eligible stay.
• If you stay on weekends including a Friday or Saturday (Thursday or Friday night in the Middle East and Egypt), you’ll earn an extra 1,000 bonus Marriott Rewards points.
Note that if your second stay is for an entire weekend you would earn 2,000 + 1,000 for a total of 3,000 bonus Marriott Rewards points for the stay.
Bonus points will be awarded to the member’s account within 3-5 business days after the qualifying stays
You can keep earning bonus points for every subsequent stay within the promotion period, up to maximum of 50,000 bonus Marriott Rewards points under the MegaBonus promotion.
The typical earn at properties in the Marriott portfolio is 10 Marriott Rewards points per dollar spent (unless at a TownPlace Suites or Residence Inn, where the earn ratio is 5 points per dollar spent). This doesn’t include any elite bonuses or additional points earned for credit card spend. With this MegaBonus promotion you can earn extra points on top of everything else.
Registration is open and required by March 31, 2018 to take part in this promo. You just need your Marriott Rewards number or email address plus your password to sign in, and registration confirmation is immediate.
As soon as I registered I was taken to the promotion confirmation page where all the Marriott promotions I’ve registered for are located.
All properties are participating in the Marriott MegaBonus promotion, which is great as you don’t have to check a list and think about which ones you’d earn the bonuses at.
If you’re a Marriott Rewards member, I recommend registering now. There is no penalty if you don’t complete the bonus offer, and this way you don’t have to remember to register if you do end up staying a couple times early next year!
Here is the T&C for the MegaBonus promotion:

I am trying online to register for the Mega Bonus for up to 3,000 points per stay, but I have not been successful. The promo was mailed to me, but I cannot seem to register. Could someone please make sure that I am registered? My email address is ————-.
Marianne, I’ve removed your personal details from your comment, and just sent you an email with what I hope is some helpful information. It is best that you get in touch with Marriott Rewards directly as I just write about the promos whereas they can help you with your account.
