Marriott is offering 2,500 bonus points per night from June 11 through August 31, 2014 on Thursday – Sunday at a participating Residence Inn, Courtyard, or TownePlace Suites in Chicago. Called “Big Bonus Weekends”, you’ll still enjoy the usual free internet, free breakfast for two adults at Courtyard properties, and free breakfast buffet and Residence Inn & SpringHill Suites.

Note that all participating Courtyard hotels and the Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile require a Friday or Saturday night stay.

Testing the random date of June 18, 2014 at the Residence Inn Lombard resulted in a price of $174.
Using the same date, both the regular rate and AAA came out to $159.
I wouldn’t go out of my way for this promotion, but if I was staying at one of these properties anyway I would check the rates to see if the promotional rate was low enough to use to earn the bonus points.
