Daily Getaways Club Carlson Gold Points

American Express in conjunction with the US Travel Association has been offering Daily Getaways each weekday from May 19 – June 20, 2014. The Daily Getaways are travel packages and offerings at a discounted price. See my original post for more detail.

Today’s Daily Getaways packages are for Club Carlson points, which go on sale at 1pm EST.

50,000 Club Carlson Gold points for $247. Cost per point = .49 cents. There are 100 packages available with a max of 2 purchased per loyalty number, or 4 total across both offers.

100,000 Club Carlson Gold points for $495. Cost per point = .49 cents. There are 50 packages available with a max of 2 purchased per loyalty number, or 4 total across both offers.

An added bonus is that using any American Express card to purchase gives you 10% off, so that lowers the cost per point down to .44 cents each.

Because there is a limited number of packages available, some Daily Getaways sell out quickly. Get your credit card ready (Amex to save an extra 10%) before 1pm EST, follow the links above to the package that interests you, and be ready to purchase when it goes on sale.

This is a good opportunity to get Club Carlson Gold points below the regular purchase rate of .7 cents per point. Club Carlson Gold points can be redeemed at Radisson Blu, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inns & Suites by Carlson properties.
