Marriott To Add Wireless Charging Stations to Lobbies
The average US business traveler has with them between 2 and 3 different mobile devices while traveling, according to a study by Marriott. I bring at least that many, and am often annoyed when I find them low on battery. To solve the problem I usually bring portable batteries but like many other travelers I scan rooms and lounges constantly for outlets for charging.
As part of Marriott’s Travel Brilliantly campaign, they will be rolling out wireless charging stations in 29 property lobbies across the country this month. In partnership with Kube Systems, the Qi wireless chargers will be able to power several devices at the same time.
I went to Kube’s website and found something that looks easy to use.
You just set your device on it to charge, no cords needed. The one I saw on the website looked a little small, and I’m figuring the ones that Marriott will use may be different but similar in that you just set your device on it to charge without any cords needed. How may electronic devices do you carry with you, and how do you keep them charged?
I’m a mophie fan. 🙂 Keep two on me at all times. I may also be a bit of a geek, but I digress.
