Four Points Harbor Island International Beer Festival Package

No plans yet for this weekend? Four Points by Sheraton has teamed up with the 1st Annual Harbor Island International Beer Festival to offer a special package to guests staying at the Four Points Manhattan Chelsea.

The package includes a 2 night stay, two VIP tickets to the festival, transportation to and from the festival, and a “Big Ol’ Bucket O’ Beer” as a check-in amenity. The bucket is comprised of beers from Four Points hotels around the world.

I tried out the nights of the 10th and 11th of October, and the price came to $544 a night.

Whoa, that price sounded extremely expensive. But then I checked the regular rate for tomorrow night without the package and it came to $329.

Regular festival tickets are $65, VIP tickets are $100 and “Brewmaster Reserve” tickets are $140 per person. Adding two VIP tickets to the $329 room comes out to $529, and when you add round trip transportation plus that “Big Ol’ Bucket” of beer, the package starts to make more sense.

Even if not taking advantage of the hotel package, the festival still sounds fun. Attendees get to sample beer from over 150 breweries around the world, with food and local music. It will be held Saturday October 11, 2014 at Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamaroneck New York from noon to 5pm. Four Points will also have a VIP and Brew Master Reserve tent set up as a pub during the event.
