Leaders Club Program Change Removes Stay Credit Expiration
I’ve just received an email that the Leaders Club program is changing to include a new benefit. Stay credits earned towards free nights will no longer expire.
Previously, when you renewed your membership at the end of your year all stay credits expired. This was disappointing because if you had saved up some credits and didn’t have enough for a free night, there really wasn’t a choice. If you didn’t renew the stay credits disappeared anyhow and there was no way to keep them.
Now, as long as you renew your Leaders Club membership 60 days before its expiration date the stay credits will carry over to the next year. The new program rule takes affect today November 4, 2014. Great news!
Terms & Conditions:
Beginning November 4, 2014, stay credits will remain valid as long as the Leaders Club membership has not expired or been cancelled. If a membership is renewed within 60 days of expiration, stay credits earned during the previous one-year earning period will carry forward into the new membership period. If a renewal is not made during the 60-day grace period, no validity extension will be granted to any previously earned stay credits.
