Promotion: IHG Big Win – Magic of Miles

IHG Rewards Club is running a personalized promotion for stays between January 1 and April 30, 2014.

Called the IHG Big Win, you enter your IHG Rewards Club number and password and get an offer based in part on your stay history.

I typed in my details eagerly, and the calculations came back with the potential to earn 34,000 points.

Here’s my offer –

Stay any IHG property – 1,000 points
Stay a total of four nights – 3,000 points
Stay at 3 different IHG brands – 7,000 points
Book two separate stays through IHG website or mobile app – 2,000 points
Stay 3 Saturday nights – 8,000 points
Stay at 2 Holiday inn properties – 3,000 points
Complete 4 of these offers – 10,000 points

Total – 34,000. Not a huge amount of points and I don’t like that 3 Saturday stays are part of my tasks, but the good thing about this promo is that it will be stackable with some of their other offers.

The default promo for new members is 31,000 points, and I’ve heard of offers of 107,000 points for just 5 stays.
