The property closed with a mysterious air and a tease of bigger things to come.
Rather than forgo the nonrefundable trip, the heart-wrenching decision was made for bride Huma to go on the trip with a slight twist. Her in-laws would accompany her instead of her husband.
MegaDo events are always filled with surprises too, whether it be special dinners or behind-the-scenes access to flight operations, a sneak peek at new aircraft, jumping down an airplane slide or watching a safety briefing given by a guy wearing Lederhosen.
We followed the directions diligently, and eased the small car through tight spaces that seemed meant for one vehicle at a time only. Finally GoogleMaps announced proudly, “you have reached your destination” as we came to a dead end. But…where was the Temple of Poseidon built in 440 BC?
Seeing that we had a confirmed reservation it made sense to us that he would have held the regular car for us and given the huge, expensive van to a walk-in without a reservation but would the agent see it that way?
