Marriott’s Autograph Collection is running an Instagram contest through August 24, 2014, which is open to all residents of the US or UK. Prizes include a 4 night stay in the Diva Suite at the Carlton Hotel plus flights for two to New York City, and $500 Marriott Gift Cards.

There are two separate entry periods, the first from June 25 to July 24, 2014, and the second from July 25 to August 24, 2014.

Here are the steps on how to enter –

1. Follow @autographhotels on Instagram

2. Upload a photo of your “Summer Autograph”, including #summerautograph and #contest in the photo caption

Their description of a summer autograph is “the one thing you’ll pack before anything else on a summer trip that you’ve been waiting all year to show off, that expresses your individuality.

Limit 1 entry per person per day.

Under the section labeled “entries“, I noticed there are only 28 so far (or maybe they’ve only included some of the entries), and the contest started June 25.

Rules: To enter, follow @autographhotels on Instagram and upload a photograph that depicts your “Summer Autograph” and include #summerautograph and #contest within the photo caption to receive one (1) entry into the Contest. To be eligible for the Entry Period 1 First Prize, you must enter between June 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. ET and July 24, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Entry Period 1”). To be eligible for the Entry Period 2 First Prize, you must enter between July 25, 2014 at 12:00 a.m. ET and August 24, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. ET (“Entry Period 2”). To be eligible for the Grand Prize, you must enter during the Contest Period. Entries will be carried forward to the Grand Prize judging but Entry Period 1 entries will not be carried forward to the Entry Period 2 judging.
