The holidays are right around the corner, and PointsHound is having a flash sale for all those still needing to book their hotel stays.

You’ll earn 1,000 bonus points when booking any stay by Friday October 24, 2014. Stays must have a check in date by December 31, 2014.

Here’s a booking link.

For a random date in October, choosing the spooky Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach that made my list of top Haunted Hotels in California, I would have typically earned 2,100 AAdvantage miles for a single night. With the promo the miles bumped up to 3,100.

Just like any hotel booking site, the prices you’ll find on PointsHound are sometimes cheaper and sometimes more expensive than on other sites. They have a rewards program to prompt you to book with them multiple times, so the more often you book using their site the higher your points earning potential.

If you do not hold status in a hotel program and are shopping around for a good hotel rate, this may be a good way to earn some extra miles at the same time.

Terms & Conditions:

Promotional offer cannot be combined with any other bonuses or offers. Limit one per user. Limit one per stay. Hotel reservation must be booked using the promotional link provided from now till October 24, 2014. Hotel reservation check in date must occur by December 31, 2014.
