I received an email that Omni Hotels is offering 30% off their best available rates on fall travel at participating properties. Stays must be completed by December 30, 2014.

In the fine print I could see that the sale included stays starting September 2, 2014 but this is the first time I’d received an email about the promotion.

Here’s a link to their promotion page.

Use promotional code CRPGO+VRPGO when booking.

Trying the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa for a random date of Saturday November 22, 2014 the price came to $179. Not bad at all, considering rates there can be in the $300 range.

But then I realized there was a small line of text by the rate that said the promotional rate wasn’t available for my date –

I then tried to find a day where the promotion was available. I used random dates in November, then December. Weekends, and also week days. I wasn’t able to find anything, and there wasn’t a helpful calendar to show me which dates were available at the promotional rate.

Switching hotels, I looked for the promotion at Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Omni San Francisco, and Omni Hilton Head. No luck.

Maybe I just happened to choose all the wrong dates when searching, but my guess is that there aren’t many available dates left at the promotional rate. If you can find availability, the 30% off could offer some savings.
