Drumroll for today’s giveaway….Hyatt Platinum status for 5 lucky winners!

There are three levels of Hyatt Gold Passport membership. First is their introductory level, Gold status, which earns five points per dollar spent.

Platinum status is earned after either 5 eligible stays or 15 eligible nights per year. In addition to 5 points per dollar you’ll get an extra 15% point bonus on eligible spend, plus free in-room Internet and guaranteed room availability at the 72 hour window. You are also eligible for a late check-out of 2pm and get 20% off the daily rate with My Elite Rate on any standard room type.

Diamond status is earned after reaching either 25 eligible stays or 50 eligible nights per year. In addition to the other benefits, you also get four complimentary suite upgrades annually, a 30% point bonus on eligible spend and 4pm late check-outs.

Even if you were able to find super cheap rates of around $60 per night at a Hyatt property, you’d have to spend an average $300 at the low end and have 5 separate stays to get Platinum status (unless you have their credit card).
