Daily Getaways is almost here! For the last six years, the U.S. Travel Association has offered some great travel deals and packages on a first-come first-served basis. Last week I received an email that 2016 will be no different. Past offers have included discounted loyalty points, savings on SeaWorld passes, savings on hotel nights in Vegas, car rentals, and on and on. Some of the offers are only mildly interesting, but some are great for those planning travels in the summertime as well as savvy travelers looking to maximize their options. This year, all of the getaways will be available for preview on Monday, March 28, 2016.

The fun starts April 4 when different travel deals go live each weekday until May 6, 2016.

Some of the packages in years past have sold out almost immediately. If you have your eye on one it is wise to be ready to purchase right at 1pm EST on the date it goes on sale. Last year Hyatt Gold Passport points were on offer for 1 cent each, which is a great deal. I was online and ready to go right when they went on sale, but alas I must have been too slow and all the packages sold out. Maybe this year I’ll do better!

You can access the website for Daily Getaways here (right now it is in “Coming Soon” mode).

On the Daily Getaways website, you can sign up to get emailed getaway alerts starting in April. I’ll do a daily review of the offers once the details are revealed as well.

US Travel Association’s Daily Getaways are open to all US residents that are 18 and older.
