Super 8 Hotels Giving Away Free Artwork in Miami Tonight

Super 8 Hotels is giving away not-so-super artwork for free tonight in Miami’s Wynwood Art District, as part of Miami’s Art Week.

Tonight only, the hotel chain is giving away kitchy hotel art that previously adorned walls. Called, “When the Art Comes Down” the humorous giveaway makes room for new artwork to entice a new (read: Millennial) generation of travelers. Tonight’s free giveaway also includes a free lesson in painting from a Bob Ross Instructor. To get your own free not-so-super artwork, head over to 2213 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami tonight before 10pm.

If you can’t visit, you can still enter Super 8’s Instagram contest by coming up with a title for the artwork featured on their Instagram page. To enter, suggest a title in the comments on Super 8’s Instagram page, followed by #S8Sweepstakes by 11:59pm ET today, December 1, 2016. The winner will receive 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points and their artwork.

I think this is a really fun way for Super 8 to usher in a refresh on their brand and find some takers for the old artwork. Who knows, maybe some people out there are nostalgic or have a perfect place in mind for some pictures. One man’s trash is another’s treasure…happy treasure hunting!
