Amazon has a deal today for Airbnb where you can get $15 off of a $50 (or higher) Airbnb egift card. The gift card must be electronic rather than a physically mailed gift card, and the promotion has a limit of one per customer.

Airbnb is an attractive alternative to hotels for some travelers. For those not in the know, Airbnb’s website shows short-term lodging available in homes and the homeowner decides on the price to charge. Airbnb is expanding with 2,000,000 listings in 34,000 cities and 191 countries (including Cuba) and even has their own hotel. You don’t have to share a building with hundreds of other guests, and are often in residential areas rather than a business district which offers a unique stay.

The Amazon Airbnb promotion is one of their “Today’s Deals” and the terms say it is available for a limited time while supplies last.

Here’s a link to the promotion.

Enter the code AIRBNB15 during checkout in the box for promo codes, and the total will update to reflect the $15 off before you place the order for your eGift card.

If you are tight on cash and want an Airbnb stay, you can also redeem Amex Membership Rewards points for Airbnb eGiftcards.
