We’re in week 3 of the US Travel Association’s Daily Getaways.

For those not familiar with Daily Getaways, travel deals and packages are offered on a first-come first-served each weekday from April 10, 2017 through May 12, 2017. For a look at previous offers click here.

Today’s deals are for stays at The Venetian or Palazzo in Las Vegas –

Two nights in a Piazza View suite at The Venetian Las Vegas for $495 (13 packages available)
Two nights in a Siena suite at The Palazzo for $608 (10 packages available)

The packages go on sale at 1pm EST today.

To purchase the deals today, click the individual links above or follow this link to the calendar for the week of April 24, 2017 and select the package you are interested in.

These are not packages including transportation or shows like offered in previous Daily Getaways, but simply a two-night stay in suites at either The Palazzo or The Venetian. These are both very good hotels, and each suite is over 1200 square feet, with views and extra amenities that regular rooms don’t.

To give you a quick look at what the suites go for in the way of pricing to see how it stacked up against the Daily Getaways prices, I searched random Saturday night dates in the summer. The Piazza View suite at The Venetian was $519 a night, not including $39 resort fee or tax. You’d be looking at over $1100 if you were purchasing outside of the deal (which offers it at just $495 for two nights).

A random summer Saturday night date for the Siena suite at The Palazzo came to $629 a night, again not including $39 daily resort fee or tax. You’d be looking at over $1400 if booking outside of today’s deal (which is at $608).

Both of the Daily Getaways packages today include tax and daily resort fee. That’s something I’d expect, but some of the Vegas packages in previous Daily Getaways deals haven’t included so it is always good to note. Travel must be booked by March 31, 2018. If you purchase either of these packages you’ll receive a certificate via email within 10 days, which also contains instructions on how to book.

You can stay at The Venetian or The Palazzo for cheaper, and even in a suite for less. Depending on your dates of travel a suite might end up being much, much less. The suites on sale today are several categories up though, and offer value to those especially who are looking to travel on dates when they might be quite expensive. Summertime Friday and Saturday nights are generally going to be more expensive than a mid-week stay, or for dates in the cooler winter months.

The only real deal-breaker would be if your intended dates of travel are during their blackout dates.

For the Piazza View Suite at The Venetian, the blackout dates include:

May 23 and 27, 2017; October 23 and 31, 2017; November 1, 28 and 29, 2017; December 30 and 31, 2017; January 8, 9, 10, 22 and 23, 2018; March 5, 6, 7, 26, 27 and 28, 2018.

For the Siena suite at The Palazzo, the blackout dates include:

May 23 and 27, 2017; October 23 and 31, 2017; November 1, 28 and 29, 2017; December 30 and 31, 2017; January 8, 9, 10, 22 and 23, 2018; March 5, 6, 7, 26, 27 and 28, 2018.

There are only about a dozen of each package available today, so if you really want one you’ll need to be quick on the draw.
