The Daily Getaways offered by American Express and the US Travel Association has Caesars/Harrah’s packages on sale today. For those who are just tuning in, different travel packages and getaways have been offered every weekday from May 19 though June 20, 2014. Today’s sale starts at 1pm EST.

Thursday, June 19:

Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. Cost – $650. There are 10 available. Package must be booked 30 days in advance, and travel must be completed by July 1, 2015. T&C says it is based on availability.

You get: 2 nights accommodations in a Bayview Premium room at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, $150 dinner credit, champagne in your room and round-trip limousine transfers between the Atlantic City Airport and hotel.

Caesars Las Vegas property package. Cost – $425. There are 10 available. Package must be booked 30 days in advance, and travel must be completed by July 1, 2015. The T&C mentions blackout dates, but doesn’t say when they are.

You get: 2 nights in a Premier room, at your choice of these properties: Bally’s Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort, The Quad Resort & Casino, or the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Included is roundtrip transportation between McCarran Airport and the hotel, bottle of champagne, and $100 dining credit.

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas package. Cost – $520. There are 5 available. Package must be booked 30 days in advance, and travel must be completed by July 1, 2015. The T&C on this one mentions blackout dates for the hotel as well as show tickets, but doesn’t give specifics.

Rio Secco Golf package . Cost – $520. There are 10 available. The T&C on this one mentions blackout dates for the hotel and also says “based on availability”. The Rio Secco will also be closed from August 24 to September 11, 2014.

You get: 2 nights in a Premium Studio suite at Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, $100 dining credit, a round of golf for 2 at Rio Secco Golf Club, limo transfers to and from Rio Secco Golf Club and round-trip transportation between McCarran Airport and the Rio Hotel.

Bally’s Las Vegas package. Cost – $315. There are 5 available. Package must be booked 30 days in advance, and travel must be completed by July 1, 2015. The T&C says to book early so as to avoid availability issues.

You get: 2 nights in a renovated Jubilee King room at Bally’s Las Vegas, 2 tickets to “Jubilee: The Showgirl Reborn”, two Buffet of Buffets passes, a bottle of Champagne and round-trip transportation between McCarran Airport and Bally’s Hotel.

With all of these packages, using any American Express card to purchase drops your price 10% off.

There aren’t very many of each of these packages available, but they do offer savings. I don’t like that every single one of these includes wording that stresses booking early because the packages are based on availability, and that there are blackout dates. It doesn’t say when the blackout dates are, and if I was going to buy a package I’d want it to fit my schedule and not have to work with an unknown.

If your schedule is flexible and you are interested in one of these packages, click on the link above for the package you want, have your credit card available (Amex to save an extra 10%), and be ready to purchase right at 1pm EST.
