Now is a great time to start planning your trips for the upcoming holidays and getaways. Trying to re-qualify for hotel status and looking for a place to stay before flying out of town? Marriott is offering bonus Marriott Rewards points for some of their airport hotels. Here’s a roundup.

Keep in mind that the rates do not include vehicle parking such as in Park & Fly packages that many hotels offer so you can leave your car at the hotel while you are away. However, I find that Park & Fly offers don’t always have great savings.
Here’s an example of a Park & Fly offer at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway hotel, which includes vehicle parking. Choosing the dates of November 26 through 30, 2014, the rate is $124 a night for the first few nights, and then drops to $114 for the last few. Total for the stay without taxes comes to $476.
If I choose the best available rate for those same dates, it comes to just $109 for the first few nights, and drops to $99 for the last ones. Total for the stay without taxes comes to $416.
Parking is $18 per day, so adding that on to the best available rate reservation raises the total to $488, a difference of only $12.
Parking rates vary by property, so depending on the amount of Marriott Rewards bonus points offered at a property, you may even come out ahead when using a promotion or best available rate and parking a vehicle.
