Taj Group announced that all 125 of its properties worldwide will offer free Wifi starting November 15, 2014. This great news includes all Gateway Hotels, Vivanta, Ginger and Taj properties.

The free Wifi offered to guests will be valid on up to 3 devices, and premium Wifi best for streaming or heavy video content will be available for an extra cost.

The Director of Public Relations for the Taj Group, Ms. Rakhee Lalvani said, “Travelers the world over have ranked free Wi-Fi as one of the most essential and valuable hotel amenities. We believe that with this value added service of free Wi-Fi, our guests will enjoy an enhanced experience during their stay at the Taj.”

This is great news. Recently we heard that Marriott would be offering free Wifi to their Rewards members, and it seems to have started a trend that gives guests something that they really want. Which hotel chain will be next?
