TravelPony $25 Off Stackable Promo Code
I received an email today that TravelPony is offering a $25 discount on hotel bookings made through February 8, 2015 for $250 or more. It is stackable with their concurrent TravelPony savings code as well.
Following the link in the email I found the promotional code for the $25 off, which is SAVE25.
Going to their website to test a few dates, I found another code (TPSAVINGS)which seemed to offer savings of up to 30% and possibly 40%, that also combined with the $25 code.
Selecting random dates of March 13-15, 2015 at the Hyatt The Pike Long Beach I saw on Hyatt’s website that rooms were going for $239 a night. Using AAA’s discount, it dropped to $218.
The total on Hyatt’s website came to $499 and and some change.
Testing the same dates on TravelPony using the discounts, the total price came to just $471.
Is it worth it to book this hotel through TravelPony for a savings of $28? Not for me, because I want to maintain Hyatt Diamond status and stays booked through 3rd party booking sites do not qualify.
However, if you don’t have status with a hotel chain or are just looking for discounts, TravelPony is great. It offers discounts on Kimpton and Four Seasons properties too where most third party bookings sites do not. Just like any online booking site though, you’ll want to check around that the prices on any of their hotels are lower than you can get elsewhere.
