We’re on the backend of the US Travel Association’s Daily Getaways, with today sadly being the last day for 2017’s deals.

For those not familiar with Daily Getaways, some really great travel deals and packages have been offered on a first-come first-served each weekday from April 10, 2017 through May 10, 2017. For a look at previous offers or to learn more about the Daily Getaways click here.

Arguably saving the best for last, today’s packages are for Hyatt points

24,000 Hyatt bonus points for $260. (120 packages available)
30,000 Hyatt bonus points for $330. (54 packages available)
40,000 Hyatt bonus points for $415. (30 packages available)
72,000 Hyatt bonus points for $775. (25 packages available)

If at first glance it looks like you’re getting two nights at a category 3 property (for example), look at the description tab and you’ll see that you’ll actually be receiving points. If you chose to you could use them for two nights at a category 3 property, but you can simply add them to your account and redeem them anywhere you have enough points for.

These Hyatt points packages are a fantastic deal. You can buy a maximum of 55,000 Hyatt points per calendar year on their website, though with these packages you could potentially end up with a ton more. Occasionally there are bonus points promotions and right now you can get 30% bonus points with purchases.

However, to purchase points even at the 30% bonus level you’d be paying about 1.846 cents per point whereas these Daily Getaways points packages offer points at a super low 1.0347 cents.

Unfortunately, with so few packages for each one available each year this Hyatt Daily Getaways deal is like a Unicorn. Every year I try to purchase this deal and refresh like crazy right when my clock ticks 1pm, and each year so far I’ve missed out. I’m sure some readers have gotten in successfully, and maybe this will be the year I snag a package!

Good luck to everyone!
